Rodas is a recent graduate who currently works at the Kennedy School as a Research Fellow and Consultant with the Shorenstein Center. She was also a Student Ambassador for Enrollment Services managing training and development of materials in collaboration with the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging
(ODIB), to include outreach to historical underserved communities; planned and executed virtual recruitment and yield activities and facilitated direct outreach efforts with faculty, current and prospective students, and staff. Prior to attending HKS she was Managing Director, RGS Consulting Architects & Engineers in Ethiopia, a homegrown business she established in 2013, one of the first few led by a female, advisory services to architectural, engineering and construction projects and clients in Ethiopia and Africa-at-Large.I am the incumbent BAA secretary and I had the pleasure of working with an incredible team of board members who shared the same vision as I. Together and since December 2021, we helped establish priorities for the BAA, build our membership base and expand our engagement and outreach to name a few of the goals we set out to achieve. I thoroughly enjoyed this journey of growth and collaboration. I strongly believe in the mission of the BAA which is to advance topics of interest to the Black alumni and community. And if elected again, I have the desire to continue to make contributions to the board and to further establish BAA’s institutional presence.

Connection with HKS: I stay connected with HKS through my work with alumni associations. Until recently I was also affiliated with the Shorenstein Center at HKS where I engage with current students, faculty through multiple lectures and webinars.
